Kanako

Grew up in Japan and moved to Vancouver, I have been a stylist for over 25 years, Trained at Suki’s Advanced Academy, Vidal Sassoon Academy (London, Toronto, Santa Monica, USA, and Toni and Guy). Over the years, I have been enjoying dealing with different types of hair. Sometimes gives me challenges, Hair is an interesting material, and never get bored! I am looking forward to seeing you and more challenges coming up!

Jasmine

Hello everyone! My name is Jasmine and I was born and raised in Richmond, BC. I love nerding out on all things beauty, whether it’s hair, makeup or clothing. I have been behind the chair at Salon Kanako since graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2017. I love doing big transformations, “lived in” custom highlights, and curly haircutting. When I’m not at the salon you can find me chasing my daughter around a park or reading a book in the sunshine. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your hair goals!

Phoebe

With over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry, I have worked with a wide variety of clients to help them look and feel their best. Originally from Taiwan, I began my career in a local salon before moving to Vancouver in 2018 to attend hair school and join Salon Kanako.
I focus on creating hairstyles that enhance natural beauty while remaining easy to maintain. I believe beauty should be effortless and tailored to each individual's lifestyle. My goal is to help you achieve a look you love while providing tips to simplify your daily routine, ensuring you feel confident and beautiful every day.
