Kanako

Grew up in Japan and moved to Vancouver, I have been a stylist for over 25 years, Trained at Suki’s Advanced Academy, Vidal Sassoon Academy (London, Toronto, Santa Monica, USA, and Toni and Guy). Over the years, I have been enjoying dealing with different types of hair. Sometimes gives me challenges, Hair is an interesting material, and never get bored! I am looking forward to seeing you and more challenges coming up!

Jasmine

Hello everyone! My name is Jasmine and I was born and raised in Richmond, BC. I love nerding out on all things beauty, whether it’s hair, makeup or clothing. I have been behind the chair at Salon Kanako since graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2017. I love doing big transformations, “lived in” custom highlights, and curly haircutting. When I’m not at the salon you can find me chasing my daughter around a park or reading a book in the sunshine. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your hair goals!

Phoebe

I am from Taiwan and I moved to Vancouver after 3 years of working in a high end salon in Taiwan. I have been in a hair industry for 9 years and I attended the Blanch MacDonal Advanced Program and graduated with both knowledge and experience. I love styling hair and cutting short hair. I am providing the best experience you can have it at the Salon Kanako. I am looking forward to seeing you soon!

I am Mio, I came to Vancouver in February 2024!
I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, I have been in the beauty industry since 2015, worked as an hair stylist for 5 years in the very busy high end hair
salon in Tokyo. I love cutting , coloring and doing treatments. I especially enjoy scalp spa treatment. Come and visit me for a scalp spa, I will give you a good head massage, and relax you! I enjoy exploring and finding new places here, learning different languages, cultures and meeting people! I love making you all feel relaxed with my head spa, I look forward to meeting you and relieving you from daily stress.
